How early do you lock Gulf creators for Ramadan and National Day?
Planning Ramadan and UAE National Day from outside the region and I don't want to be the brand that briefs people in the last week. How early are you locking creators in the UAE and Saudi, and what do you wish you'd known about timing, tone, and fees?

For Ramadan, we start conversations three months out and we aim to sign six weeks before. The creators you want are already talking to three other brands by then.

National Day in the UAE is a short, loud week. Book the creator, but don't expect a thoughtful product demo on the day. A simple, respectful post earlier in the week did better for us than a costume on the night.

Saudi National Day and UAE National Day are not the same week and not the same mood. Don't brief them as one 'Gulf pride' post. Creators notice, and so do the comments.

Tone: families, food, generosity. A hard discount code screamed over an iftar looks cheap. We moved the offer to the last ten days of Ramadan, when people are actually shopping for Eid, and it felt less clumsy.

Fees go up, and they should. You're buying a crowded calendar. What I won't pay is a surcharge plus a demand that the creator posts four times. Pick one good post.

Shooting hours change. People are up late and resting in the afternoon. A 2pm call time in the first week of Ramadan is how you get a tired creator and a bad film. Ask them what hours are realistic.

Gift with the brief, not during the last ten nights if you can help it. A lot of creators are with family and will not unbox your serum on camera that week. Plan the unboxing earlier.

Have the Arabic caption written by someone who observes the month, or by the creator. A translated line that treats Ramadan like a summer sale will get screenshotted for the wrong reason.

Leave a gap in the budget for the creator who becomes free because another brand cancelled. It happens every year, usually ten days out, and they're often better than the name you overpaid in January.

Who can start a new forum thread?
Members with a high enough community level can start a discussion. Newer members can answer. The level names and point lines are on the community page. A level is not an influencer score, and starting a thread is not the same as listing a creator.
Can I post someone's private email in a reply?

Do community points change a creator ranking?
No. Community points order members. Creator rankings follow stored follower counts, which is a different list. Mixing the two sends you to a fan instead of a channel. Those rankings are on the rankings page.
